STATEMENT

Sri Kodakalla is an emerging self-taught mixed-media artist, working primarily in charcoal, acrylics, and embroidery on canvas. She often explores the nature of human emotions, drawing from caricatures of people and eclectic experiences of encounters in her daily life. Her art often pulls inspiration from the natural (the anatomical, botanical, and entymological) elements juxtaposed with geometric structures.
